How the import works

1. Export your CSV

In Strong or Hevy, open Settings and use Export Data to download your workout history as a CSV file. In Alpha Progression, open Settings, choose Export training data, and use the Workouts file.

2. Preview before anything is saved

The CSV stays on your device during preview. To map exercises, the wizard sends only distinct exercise names to this site's private, no-store matching endpoint. No workout sets are saved until you confirm.

3. Get your Strength Passport

Your history becomes a strength score, a tier, a weak-point analysis, and any cohort percentiles the available data supports. From there the coach can plan your fastest path to the next tier.

Coming from another app?

Each comparison shows where that app is stronger, how the features line up, and what Symmetric Strength adds. Strong, Hevy and Alpha Progression exports import directly.

Your data stays yours

The CSV is parsed on your device. Before confirmation, only distinct exercise names are sent to this site in private, no-store matching requests; the file and workout rows are not saved. Only the lifts you confirm are committed to your account. Your Passport stays private unless you choose to publish it, and you can control individual fields anytime in your privacy settings.

The preview wizard reads your CSV in the browser and shows exactly what it found. Nothing is saved until you confirm the import.

Common questions

Which apps can I import from?

Strong, Hevy, and Alpha Progression CSV exports are supported. For Alpha Progression, export from Settings and pick the Workouts file. If you track in a spreadsheet, you can also enter your best lifts directly in the calculator.

Do I need an account to see my score?

No. The calculator gives you a full score and analysis without signing up. An account is only needed to save history and claim a Passport.

What happens to my CSV file?

It is parsed in your browser for the preview. Distinct exercise names are privately matched with this site's catalog in no-store requests, but the file and workout rows are not saved until you confirm. You can delete imported account data at any time.
